Here is ultimate proof that GRAD MLRS can fire WITHIN 5km range when used as 'direct fire':
In this video the Russians are peven PRACTICING how to fire on an ultimate short range. This means that firing MLRS on a very short range fits within the doctrine of the Russians. When they train on it, they use it too in battles. Or... in attacks on civilian areas!
One very common practice that we have noticed in the ongoing conflict is that the Russians fire GRAD from Ukrainian direction on occupied cities and villages, as to pretend as if the Ukrainian army shot the rockets.
Organisations like HRW or OSCE have easily fallen for this trick and blamed Ukraine for firing such attacks on civilians, because they apply the minimum ranges as absolute borders.
This footage shows how wrong they have been. The Russians fire in much shorter ranges and train it's hybrid army with this practice.
Next time the argument of minimum range can not be used anymore!

Russian MLRS attack on Mariupol
In this video Zakharchenko announced the attack on Mariupol (the ultimate goal is to create a corridor to Crimea):
For those Who do not understand Russian, here is a summary of what he is saying:
And then this happened (29 civilians died)...
Link to VERY GRAPHIC video from Azov looking for victims.
This dashcam video recorded the moment of impacts:
It is filmed like this:
Another dashcam video shows how cars get hit:
CONCLUSION
Here are all the impacts (with directions = red lines), fires and victims I have been able to find:
It is VERY CLEAR where these rockets came from:
This is done by RUSSIAN rocket launchers, with RUSSIAN rockets, by soldiers speaking RUSSIAN, running RUSSIAN flags on their vehicles and with RUSSIAN emblems on their sleeves...
If you still want to insist that these are just local monkeys, watch this video and ask yourself this question: "Who is responsible for the destruction if you give a dangerous weapon to a monkey? The monkey or the one gave him the weapon(s)?"
But what is actually the difference anyways, if you have locals, local criminals, 'rebels', 'separatists', monkeys, 'mercenaries' or an army fighting for you? They ALL fight for you... so it is RUSSIAS WAR AGAINST UKRAINE.
Maybe you want to retweet this:

WARCRIME: Russians firing AGAIN from same residential area Shirokiy
This video shows GRAD firing very close to apartment buildings.
VIDEO #1
Some screenshots:

The location can be found here:
Link to Google Maps.
Firing that close to residential buildings is a warcrime, because it means that when the Ukrainians return fire, these buildings will get hit.
It is clear that people are living there, such as the cameraman.
Take note: most of the people living there are Russian-speaking!!! Russia started this war with the excuse that these Russian-speaking people needed protection. Firing this close to quarters where Russian-speaking people live, shows that Russia does not care about them AT ALL
The reason they are doing this is because they WANT a humanitarian disaster in Ukraine.Ukraine tries to break away from the suffocating grip that Russia has on the country. Russias answer is: ÿou don't want to be my vasal-slave-state, that I can continue to plunder together with corrupt presidents? Then we will destroy you!!!!
Also take note that this is not the first time this area has been used for firing GRAD rockets. See this video:
And this one:
They have been geolocated for Interpretermag.com like this (yellow area):
VIDEO #2
Another video shows the same incident:
This screenshot shows some garages:
There is ONE square box. They can be corresponded with this Google Streetview position:
It means the shot is taken like this:
And the GRAD can be located more precise ON the parking lot.
This screenshot shows the rocket trails are perpendicular to the viewer:
It means they are shot right towards him going over his head:
With a 20 km range the area that they could be targeting looks like this:
According to the Russian Propaganda Militarymaps there are Ukrainian units in Nevelske:
So it looks like these are being targeted.
VIDEO #3
Another video shows that children are playing outside:
VIDEO #4
This fourth video even films the GRAD right away... at the parking lot:
Screenshot:
This might be considered one of the best documented GRAD firings right now! All these citizens filming this must be very happy that this happens next to their doors... #NOT.

Russians caught redhanded: geolocated GRAD attack on Makeevka/Donetsk
This video has been geolocated:
This screenshot shows an electrical pole:
That pole matches the poles in this Panoramio photo:
This screenshot:
On that hill is a power station.
This map shows the poles:
To the left is the power station. In the middle ONE pole is visible. In the distance on the right an elevation/hill is visible, just like in the video:
Now we can approximately position the GRADs like this:
The red arrow shows how the GRAD and car are driving from the scene.
With the location established, we can determine into which direction they are firing:
The GRAD that fires some 40 rounds seems to fire OVER the power station.
The other GRAD incidentally fires more to the right.
We can plot these directions on the map with a 20 km (red line) to 35 km (transparent red line) range:
The big question is: what are they firing at? There are no Ukrainian soldiers tehre!!!
If this is maybe an old video (and just uploaded now), maybe the southern attack might have been directed at some Ukrainian troops trying to retreat from Ilovaisk? Yet they had always been at the South - SouthWest of Ilovaisk.
But even despite this unclarity we can conclude one thing: the upper attack is directed to areas that had NEVER been in control of Ukraine!!! There were never Ukrainian soldiers this far in Donetsk or East of Donetsk. Makeevka and the roads that lead to it has ALWAYS been in control by the Russians.
So this is absolute proof that it's the (Terro)Russians who are randomly targeting occupied Ukrainian civilian areas here.
Basically they are caught red-handed... (again!!!).
UPDATE
This video from Sept 22th (starting from 2:04) shows exactly what the setup could have been for the event above:
The isolated shots come from recoilless guns... they have a GRAD... and they fire in different directions.

It looks so similar it might even be same event or at least the same team.
Also see: lots of 'ceasefire' GRAD attacks by the Russians.
Also see: deadly MLRS attack on bus and school in Donetsk.
Also see: Russians shelling Ukrainian village FROM RUSSIAN TERRITORY.

This screenshot:

It means the cameraman must be somewhere up in the fields.

Lots of (Terro)Russian 'ceasefire' GRAD attacks
Ceasefire? The Ukrainians have to cease and the Terrorussians fire...
There are lots Terrorussian ceasefire-GRAD-attacks. Here are some of them:
In Dokuchaievsk:
This video is from the same event:
The location is like this:
Yellow arrow = direction of driving of the GRADs.
From these videos it may be VERY clear that the Terrorussians are firing from very close to residential areas, which is warcrime.
Video from unknown location:
This one is reported to be in Makeevka:
The location of that video is like this:
This next video is likely from the same incident, because it is shot from the same location, but filmed from another position:
This screenshot shows the line of sight along the footpath (yellow) and the direction of fire (red)
In Google Earth it shows like this:
Blue is the field of view from the camera. The Grad must be somewhere along the yellow line that walks slightly right of the footpath. The GRAD is behind some bushes. Red is the approximate direction of fire.
On a larger scale with a range of 20 kms it looks like this:
The Russian MilitaryMaps shows that there are Ukrainian units at that location:
So likely these are targeted.
Here are some nightly GRAD attacks:
Reported to be in Makeevka, but unable to geolocate yet:
Unknown location:
A composition of screenshots:
This shows there must be three launchers. From the first only smoke can be seen. The second and the third are firing into different directions. The third launches about 38 rockets, so it must be a GRAD too. The second launches in a very slow pace.
Conclusion:
The Russian are using the ceasefire to comfortably choose their targets without too much risk of getting attacked. They never ceased the fire.
If you maybe know where some of these videos where located: let me know!!!!!

Russians caught firing GRAD from Russian soil unto Ukrainian territory
This video was recorded by Russian citizens taking a swim in a nearby lake when GRADs were fired:
This has been correctly geolocated by several people already:
Yellow = electricity poles
Green = bush
Some cars are parked near the water.
On a map it looks like this:
Yellow dots = poles
Red = cars
Green = bush
When we draw a line from the sixth pole slightly right along the bush, it is the first line of sight. Then from the third pole alongside the cars is the second line of sight. The cameraman is standing where the lines cross.
This screenshot show us where the GRADs are positioned. We can see two here. One already fired. That's when the boys start filming. Then the second starts firing and this is recorded. The black smoke shows the positions.
Now we can draw two lines starting from the location of the cameraman. One goes between poles 3 and 4 and the other slightly right from number 4.
Now the map looks like this:
The GRADS are positioned somewhere along the two blue lines, behind a tree line (dotted green):
The speed of sound is 340 meters per second. Visually the last rocket-engine disappears at 40:11. The sound stops at 47:05. It means there are 6 seconds and 18 frames in between them, which is 6,75 seconds. That means the distance is 2.295 meters.
Yet, this is the distance of the disappearing ROCKET, not of the launcher itself. And the rocket travels AWAY from the site. But let's see where that rocket might have been:
The reddish circle is a distance of 2.300 meters. The yellow line is the direction where we last see the rocket engine. That means that rocket is at the yellow cross. And THAT means the launcher is somehwere at the red crosses. When the first launcher is in visual range of the other, it must be between the green dots and is at the orange cross.
As can be seen, the Ukrainian border is still another 2 kms away. So the GRADs DEFINITELY are on Russian soil.
Location in Google maps:
Now the target area can also be determined:
Dotted blue = Ukrainian / Russian border
Red arrow = approximate direction of firing
Reddish area = possible targets within a range of 5 -20 kms
This is the area where the 79th brigade of Ukraine tries to secure the border crossing of Chervonopartyzansk (= Russian Gukovo).
This facebook account Gives an eyewitness description of the Attack:
So here is the undeniable proof that the Russian army is attacking Ukrainians on Ukrainian territory from Russian territory ...
Here is another better quality video from the same area:
A screenshot:
Rocket engine stop at 38:06. Sound stops at 43:20. This is 5:14 frames = 5,6 seconds, corresponds with 1.900 meters.
Reddish circle = 1.900 meter range
Yellow cross = approximate location rocket engine stops
Red crosses = position of GRAD
When we draw a range of 20 kms on a larger map in the approximate firing direction, we get this map:
Dotted blue line = Russian border
Blue line = line of sight towards the firing GRAD
Reddish area = 5-20km range for a GRAD into the approximate firing direction
Yellow area = village of Provillia (see below)
Note that this is not the first time that Russians are firing GRAD rockets across the border. On July 11th it was the first time when an entire Ukrainian camp/convoy had been destroyed near Zelenopole. see this blog. There it was already reported that the fire came from Russian soil. This is the first time is in recorded on film and can be geolocated and thus undeniably proven that it comes from Russian soil.
Basically the Russians are doing this ALL THE TIME already ...!!! The difference is: now it is filmed and pinpointed down to an exact location.
VIDEO #3
Another video filming the same area from a little bit more Southern position:
A screenshot from the video:
This corresponds with this look in Google Streetview:
On a map:
Red circle = area where the smoke may come from.
As can be seen, there is overlap with the positions in the other two videos.
Still I have some serious questions about this last video. The smoke looks a lot more like smoke from impacts and/or burning things. Neither do we hear any noise from launching GRAD rockets as in the other videos. And we do not see the burning engines of the rockets either. So it looks like Ukraine is shelling back unto the GRAD positions here?
Wow! It means Ukraine is fighting back ON RUSSIAN TERRITORY.
Euromaidan says the town of Provallia is on fire in this video. This could be possible, because the southern part is well in range of the firing in the second video.
But when we extend the view of the area with the smoke to a longer distance, this what we get:
Red area = black and white smoke
Yellow area = village
It DOES overlap the northern part of the village, but it does NOT overlap the southern part. And it was the Soutern part that may have been in range.
This doesn't mean the village was not hit. Very likely there have been many more launches that have not been recorded.
Nevertheless the smoke seems too close by to be in the village. It looks like the smoke is right behind the tree line. So for now, I still opt for the possibility that Ukraine has been firing back at Russian soil. And they would have been crazy if they didn't!
One might say: "Why didn't Russia blame Ukraine for firing into Russian territory?"
Well, that would be impossible, because then they would have to admit that they were firing from Russian territory into Ukraine first...
Extra:
Some guy talking and filming the filming-Location for a long time. I have been told he talks about his childhood etcetera. But the second part gives a good impression of the area.
UPDATE 23-7
Russian soldier post photos on his VKontakte-page about his unit shelling Ukraine with heavy artillery from Russian soil. Read blog.
UPDATE 24-7
This video is originally from a VKontakte page from June 13th. It does NOT seem to be filmed at this particular location. But it gives a very clear impression of how horrifying these machines are:
UPDATE 26-7: leaked conversations Girkin (Strelkov) asking for Russian artillery:
This has been correctly geolocated by several people already:
Sergivanovg @ @ tombreadley Fits All ... Google maps: http://t.co/W0P7q9FD0W pic.twitter.com / usRvLDfDCc
- Lousy Believer (@ vanyka_othlobys) July 16, 2014
But we'll do it again to be accurate. This is a screenshot:Yellow = electricity poles
Green = bush
Some cars are parked near the water.
On a map it looks like this:
Yellow dots = poles
Red = cars
Green = bush

The reddish circle is a distance of 2.300 meters. The yellow line is the direction where we last see the rocket engine. That means that rocket is at the yellow cross. And THAT means the launcher is somehwere at the red crosses. When the first launcher is in visual range of the other, it must be between the green dots and is at the orange cross.

Location in Google maps:

Reddish area = possible targets within a range of 5 -20 kms
This is the area where the 79th brigade of Ukraine tries to secure the border crossing of Chervonopartyzansk (= Russian Gukovo).
This facebook account Gives an eyewitness description of the Attack:
"Today, near the border of the Luhansk Region, the Ukrainian 72nd batallion, consisting only of 15 Men were loading the corpses in the refrigerator car. At this time, we were fired at by GRAD rockets. Our Soldiers HAD to leave for shelter, but still five got seriously injured. The attacks did not stop, we HAD to retreat. The terrorists fire drove the Ukrainian soldiers on the territory of the Russian Federation, where they were waiting for by the FSB. The team members were arrested, and every single one WAS taken to hospital in the Russian Gukovo. Now, the Hospital is aurrounded by police of the Russian Federation, in the building are dozens of Russian journalists. ATO Guide contacted Border Service of Russia on the border issue of the Ukrainian Side, but they recommended to contact the supreme commander of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and hung up. "(This translation might need some improvement ...)
